Andrea's Diary (Part 1)

The Photo Shoot
Having taken a few snaps of my first experiences as Andrea, I decided straight away that I wanted some professional glamour photos that I could both cherish as a record and use to improve my looks and poise. I had already long realised that short skirts (and I mean short!) and high heels (and I mean high!) were my greatest turn on and luckily for me I have the legs for it.
I had already started to venture out around London as Andrea, even if it was only to post a letter or do some shopping. Finding a photographer was my next hurdle. Fortunately I found a local studio in Camden which was only 15 minutes walk from the Transformation Shop in London, where I kept my expanding wardrobe and had my makeup done. Rather shyly I explained to the photographer "Look I'm really a guy dressed as a girl! - does this give you a problem?"
To my delight there was no pause or silence - "No - we will photograph you just as if you were any other girl model". This was really great for my confidence and I booked a date with them straight away.
The big day arrived - talk about being nervous! I went through all my usual routine shaved, dressed and make up at Transformation. I decided to wear (to start with) my black suit that had a jacket and fairly short mini skirt and white blouse. I wore 4" heels which also quite easy to walk in. I also took with me my black leather look mini skirt which was shorter. I ordered a cab to go there as I did not want to let the wind mess my hair too much - well that was my excuse anyway - I was dead nervous!
At the studios I was greeted by my photographer (who has since become a good friend and has done many shoots with me - more on that later) - he showed me around the studios, which also had a changing/make up room. There were three studios - a White (all walls etc. - white), a Black - yes you guessed it, and a Glamour - this had a bed!!!. He said that for me the White studio would be best as this gave us best flexibility to set up lighting to enhance my looks, and also it was the easiest to use in getting accustomed to posing as a girl model. With my height and my 4" heels he also needed to have plenty of high lighting to set off my blond hair. While he was setting up the studio I went off to the makeup room to check all was in order. It was surprising how much was involved and how long it took to set up.
When nearly ready I was asked to stand in the middle of the back drop, which was a long sheet of wide paper backing that came down from a roll high behind me and then draped on the studio floor. This I carefully made my way onto minding my heels - but I need not have worried as the paper was quite thick and strong.
Once light testing was completed and the camera set up we commenced. Earlier he had asked me what sort of shots I wanted, my reply was of course anything which showed off my long legs and short skirt - I wanted all of me!! He started with full length standing shots the he had me on the floor and on a stool - has this girl no shame! He also persuaded me to have a few close ups of my head and shoulders - which was really useful afterwards to help with future make up.
Once we started it was surprising how quickly the time passed, and mid way through I went back to the make up room to change into my leather look mini. There was by now another girl getting changed for a shoot in the Black studio, I said was it all right to just nip in and change - no problem - she was a professional model and remarked how good I looked (always good for the confidence!) - and asked me to help zip her up, which was quite difficult for me as I had long glued on nails!.
I returned to my studio and we continued with similar shots with the change of skirt. I was already picking up useful tips on posing in respect to looking at the camera or away from it, positioning of my shoulders to best show off my figure and how to position my hands and spread my fingers. I resisted the same with my legs!
Once completed, I changed back to my mini suit and made arrangements to pick up the photos a week later and order any enlargements etc. I bid my photographer farewell and set off to walk back to Transformation. This I enjoyed immensely - I looked good in my heels and mini and I knew passing motorists were giving me admiring glances (you just get that feeling!).
Once back at the shop I had a well deserved black coffee and told the girls of my adventure.
A few weeks later I returned to the studio (as my male self) and sat down with my photographer to review the shots and order some enlargements. I have since been back numerous times and we have done many shoots at the studios and outside around London (more about that another time) - although I have yet to use the Glamour Studio!!
