Don met me outside and we checked in at Registration (I already had invites from the organisers, so this again was all planned) and we checked in at the press office and received our Press Passes (the orange tags you see in the photos). The London Edge Fashion Fair covers the entire main exhibition hall, all 3 floors!
The Fair is for Club, Street and almost Fetish type fashion suppliers to show off their latest lines to potential buyers, which in the main I suspect are one off or small chain high - street stores.
There is always a proliference of models wearing distinctive and revealing designs, so my 6" heels and short mini skirt were totally in keeping. (Lots of comments about nice legs - always good for girl's esteem!)
We were soon visiting old friends and making new contacts, and I have to say that some of the micro minis were too tempting to resist (you'll have to wait for warmer weather for some photos though).
Several rolls of film and 3 hours later we had completed our tour - and yes I have to say the 6" heels were starting to take their toll, although I would never let on!
After a coffee Don and I collected our Press Pack and I collected my sensible shoes from the cloakroom, and after changing into them we headed off down Kensington High Street, for me to hail a cab back to Euston while Don headed for the Tube.
This for me is always the worst time - firstly that my time as Andrea would shortly be ending, and hoping that my make up still looked fresh and convincing to go back to the Transformation Shop head held high.
