Andrea's Diary (Part 5)

With the summer almost over I felt it was time that Andrea had another day out in London.

With the summer almost over I felt it was time that Andrea had another day out in London. I have to say that for the last two months I have been decidedly lazy - with the prospect of going away on holiday (the beach etc) I have tended to let my body hair grow - legs! Also my makeup tends to melt a little in the hot weather, then there are the hoards of tourists that make London so busy this time of year.

Despite my somewhat laid back attitude - I still kept my eyes open for that little something that Andrea would wear out one day. Little something it literally was when I bought a black mini skirt in Alders the other day - short - I've seen belts cover more leg!

Anyway it's a good time to sort out my clothes and discard those items that I feel are no longer needed or fashionable. Also a good time to give my wig a wash and conditioning spray. I don't know about you but it's my wig that really makes Andrea come alive! So it's worth looking after. (Transformation shops sell the shampoo and conditioner, you can also get them from Hairdressers and department stores)

Having not been out for a while I was starting to question my resolve and seeing all those feminine legs and high heel sandals about I decided that it was time for Andrea to have a day out in London. Would I still look ok, would I be able to carry it off, nerves were already setting in! Fortunately I had a good reason to venture out, and that was I had arranged to meet my 'date' from my last evening out (see Diary 4) for lunch in central London.

I always prefer a reason for going out as Andrea as I feel far more confident and composed. As luck would have it - Andrea was to have another appointment that morning in the shape of a new photographer who I met up with on the Transformation Personal Ads Pages.

He wanted to undertake a photo shoot using a 'girl' like me and so we arranged to meet and discuss the details over a coffee in a Soho café prior to my lunch date.

As usual I made my way to Transformation that morning for my Makeup and Change. I had decided to wear my black pin stripe business suit that had a mini skirt with quite a deep slit. It's smart and very sexy without being over the top or out of place in a busy London street.

I met up with the photographer and we found a nice café where we sat outside and compared our portfolios and the type of shoot and clothes he was looking for, along with where he intended the photos to be used. (I have purposely kept the details vague - as the photo shoot may hopefully be the contents of my next Diary!)

Sitting outside a the café was great for the confidence - I might as well have been just any other 'girl' (with long legs!) and the glances received were very admiring!

Details sorted - I set off to meet with my date which was at Steph's, a delightful restaurant in Soho a few streets away from where I had been earlier. It was really nice to meet my date again and to update each other on our news. He had also taken the plunge and had a days changeaway and photo session ('she' looked great - I can see we may eventually have a 'girls' night out!).

My short skirt I think when down well and we had a lovely and relaxed time together, planning our next evening out on the Town!

We bid our farewells and I set off back to Transformation for my time as Andrea would shortly be up. The day was a great success and a real confidence boost. I resolved to make sure I did not leave it so long next time before Andrea steps out again.

Photos

The Photos with this Diary are a tribute to Raymond who over the last 4 years has taken numerous photo shoots for me. From our initial meeting at the Beehive Studios when I explained what sort of 'girl' he would be taking photos of, we became firm friends. Sadly after a long illness Raymond recently passed away and these photos are a tribute to him.

Hugs - Andrea
