Feminized Husband
Jo never quite understood why she so urgently wanted to see her husband in female clothes, but "he'd look lovely in a frock" was the compulsive thought in her mind.
And she was right... when she persuades Brian to dress in a frock, high heels, make-up and a wig, he did look lovely - so lovely that Jo makes him 'Nancy', her weekend 'wife'.
Brian finds difficulty in adapting to his new role; exposure to the public and to their friends as Nancy terrifies him, even though he begins to find his other personality as compelling as Joe does.
Only when he loses his job can Nancy come wholly to life as a full-time 'wife' to the masterful Jo.
